Charity Day in aid of Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society
Blue charity day in aid of Alzheimer’s society. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something BLUE.
On Friday 18th March Lookers Mercedes-Benz and smart will be hosting a charity day across all sites to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. All members of staff will be participating by wearing something ‘BLUE’ as a show of Lookers support to the Alzheimer’s Society charity. Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia. The word dementia describes a set of symptoms that can include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language. These symptoms occur when the brain is damaged by certain diseases, including Alzheimer's disease.
Who can turn down a good slice of homemade cake? Not us, so that's why alongside staff wearing blue, we will also be hosting a bake sale made by the ‘Great British Bake off’ imitators. If that’s not enough staff will be bringing in any unwanted old clothes which we will then recycle and all money from this will be donated to our Just Giving LookersMercedes page for the Alzheimer's society. All three will be taking place on the 18th March and we are aiming to raise our target of £1000 for this day so any donation big or small will be much appreciated.
